Shaun Armour

“Most of the high school subjects I taught dealt with the biological sciences. Thus, I became the recipient of frogs: frogs of all sizes, shapes, materials and demeanors. I don’t think I ever bought a frog but there are hundreds of them in the house. So, when I received the violin, the idea of combining my past with the orchestral present resulted in this amphibious project.”

After a career as a science, physical education, art and interdisciplinary classes educator that encompassed several schools, grade levels (high school and university), states and countries, Shaun Armour finally found time to take a deep breath. Professionally, he is still involved with a program out of the University of Colorado that supports young science teachers and a peer counseling program for seniors in the north metro area.
